Dance Instructor Photo Tabitha R. Andrews-Colmary ("Miss Tabby")
Dance Program Director

was dancing before She could walk. Studying dance all her life, Miss Tabby had the privilege of training under many prestigious names. She began her training at the early age of two with "Miss Dina" in Oxford. As Miss Tabby grew so did her passion for dance. This led her to devote many hours a day toward her dream of performing, choreographing, and sharing her love of dance with others through teaching.

has been dancing since the age of four at studios such as Paul J. Klocke Studio of Dance, Linda Moore’s School of Dance, Steppin Out Dance Center, and Karen Myers & Co. Throughout her dance career Miss Caitlin has enjoyed performing in local events such as parades and festivals in Kennett and Oxford. Other performance experiences include dancing in the 6ABC Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, Capitol Kickline, and the “Dance the Magic” Parade down Mainstreet USA in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

Dance Instructor Photo Sophie Akhtar ("Miss Sophie")

Sophie Akhtar has been with KMC Dance since she was 4 years old. She started of with a Ballet and Tap combo class and as the years went she added Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, and Theatre Performance to her repertoire.

Over the years Sophie has had the opportunity to dance at many venues including: The Dunkin Donuts Thanksgiving Parade, the Carnival Pride Cruise Ship, Disney World, and at various events in and around Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.

Dance Instructor Photo Julie Anzalone ("Miss Julie")

The Oxford Center for Dance was the launching pad for Miss Julie’s LOVE of dance 40 years ago. She began her training at OCD and has continued to study under numerous professional instructors. Her commitment to Quality Performance continues with 24 years of Nutcracker Performances at Oxford Center for Dance. She serves as Judge, Performer and Choreographer and in 2013 was the Co-Creative Director for Nutcracker.

Dance Instructor Photo Jim Bunting ("Mr Jim")

graduated from the University of the Arts in 1995, receiving his BFA in Dance. During this time, he danced professionally as a founding member of Koresh Dance Company for 9 years. Jim then went on to develop his talents as a choreographer and teacher and has over 20 years of experience teaching and choreographing dance in the greater Philadelphia area. As a choreographer, Jim has had the pleasure of creating works for Koresh Dance Company, Pennsylvania Ballet's Shut Up and Dance at the Forrest Theater, the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, The University of The Arts and Drexel University.

Dance Instructor Photo Katherine Corbett ("Miss Katherine")

is originally from eastern North Carolina where she grew up and attended East Carolina University. She received her BFA in dance performance and began teaching and setting work in the NC area. Over the years, Katherine has trained and worked with with choreographers at BodyTraffic, Koresh, American Dance Festival, and Rubberband Dance. Katherine now resides in Philadelphia and is working with companies such as Brian Sander’s JUNK, Asya Zlatina and Dancers, and Matter Movement Group.

Dance Instructor Photo Cassidy Colmary ("Miss Cassi")

Cassi ​was dancing before the day she was born, however she started her dance "career" at the age of three!

She trains in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Rhythmic Tap, Hiphop, Breakin', Latin Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Theatre Performance... pretty much any class that is offered ...she's there!

She's had the opportunity to perform with Illuminations Performance Company for four seasons and perform on the Carnival cruise ship, at the Statue of Liberty, the ABC Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade and at many community events, benefits, & parades!

Dance Instructor Photo Bella Ferranto ("Miss Bella")

Bella is thrilled to be back as a teacher for her third year! She has been dancing at KMC dance since she was 3 years old, training in a variety of styles. Bella is a Level 1 dancer in ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hiphop, latin jazz and theater performance. She is in 11th grade, attending Kennett High School.

Dance Instructor Photo Leah Humphrey ("Miss Leah")

Leah’s passion for dance began at the age of three. She is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Theatre Performance. She attends Oxford Area High School, as a part of the graduating class of 2020.

Leah has had the opportunity to perform at the 6ABC Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, a 76ers basketball game, Kings Dominion, and many other community events!

She is very excited for her second year of teaching at KMC and the opportunity she has to share her love of dance!

Dance Instructor Photo Jennifer Jenkins ("Miss Jenn")

Miss Jenn began her training at Longwood Performing Arts in 1996. In 2001, she joined Oxford Center for Dance and continued to dance there until her high school graduation. She continued to teach at Oxford Center for Dance. Over the years, Miss Jenn performed in their annual nutcracker and still continues to do so.

Dance Instructor Photo Joanne Kalmbach ("Miss JoJo")

Joanne Kalmbach has been working as a dancer/teacher/choreographer in the Philadelphia area for over 35 years. She began her dance training under the direction of Donna Muzio at The Dance Center and was one of the founding members of the Brandywine Ballet. During that time she studied with teachers such as Cherie Noble, Michael Lopuszanski and David Kloss. Ms. Kalmbach went on to become a Principal Dancer with Brandywine Ballet Company as well as Ballet Klös in Philadelphia. While with Ballet Klös, in addition to performing in Philadelphia, she also toured with the company traveling from Philadelphia to Kentucky. In Kentucky, the company performed at the Governors Ball. After this performance, Ms. Kalmbach was featured on the front page of the Kentucky newspaper.

Dance Instructor Photo Charla Klevence ("Tweety")

Ms. Tweety attended The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, PA. Then continue​d​ her studies at West Chester University graduating with a BSEd in Early Childhood Education. While Ms. Tweety was a Tap Dancer with Tap Team Two & Co. ( under the direction of: Robert F. Burden Jr.) she had the opportunity to work with Young Audiences of: PA, NJ, NY, MD, VA, and CONN. performing in various schools teaching the history of Tap Dance. ​​Ms. Tweety's teachers over the years have been: Joseph Lee, Nini Brown, LaVaughn Robinson, Germaine Ingram, Robert Burden, Nicole Hockenberry, Germaine Salsberg, Jimmy Tate, , Buster Brown, Savion Glover, and Jason Samuels Smith; just to name a few.​

Dance Instructor Photo Arden McFoy ("Miss Arden")

Arden was dancing as soon as she could walk and at just under the age of 3 she began attending dance classes. KMC became her dance “home” when she was 4 years old. Over the past 18 years, Arden has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, latin jazz fusion, commercial hip hop, and breakin’. She has always had a passion for working with children, and throughout high school has both assisted other teachers and taught her own classes. Outside of KMC, Arden works as an orthodontics technician where she helps each child she meets achieve their greatest smile. She is very excited to be back “home” at KMC as part of the teaching staff.

Dance Instructor Photo Carlie Monzo ("Miss Carlie")

After graduating from Shippensburg University, Carlie went on to dance for Beyond Dance Company. She performed in IDA performances, project Moshen Dance Series, ETC performances, and the New York dance parade and festival. She also performed in the shows that Beyond Dance hosted in which she also performed a solo and a duet. She has also danced with FloMotion Dance Company where she has performed at the Beat Addikts United showcase, Phillippines benefit, Kat Wildish in New York, and much more.

Dance Instructor Photo Andre Morris ("Mr Andre")

Andre Morris began his Hip Hop training at the age of 8, and after taking a short hiatus to study musical theater and music, returned to dancing at the age of 12 at Carousel Performing Arts Center in Kennett Square PA. Andre Has been trained in all subgenres of Hip Hop, including but not limited to, Breaking and House, as well as funk styles such as Popping and Locking.

Dance Instructor Photo Michael Nguyen ("Mr Mike")

Michael Nguyen is a passionate dance instructor, choreographer, and entertainment artist. He received his MFA in Choreography and Performance at Temple University where he has had opportunities to perform for many guest artists such as Kyle Clark and Jenifer Weber. Michael is also a member of Balance Dance Company, D2D: Dare 2 Dance, and is a choreographer for Beat Addikts United.

Dance Instructor Photo Caroline Poore ("Miss Caroline")

Caroline Poore has danced for as long as she can remember. She has had the privilege of training in multiple studios across America from Alabama all the way up to Pennsylvania. Dance has provided Caroline several opportunities to perform in many places including, Walt Disney World, the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Statue of Liberty, on a Carnival Cruise, and much more. She trained at KMC for 7 years before graduating high school and going to college at The University of Valley Forge.

Dance Instructor Photo Cheyanna Sullivan ("Miss Cheyanna")

started dancing at the age of 3 where she began her training at Center Stage Dance and Theater School in East Brunswick, NJ. She trained in their jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, and lyrical competition teams from the age of 5 up until she was 17. She graduated in 2009 and was accepted into University of the Arts in Philadelphia as a Dance major. There, she had the opportunity to work with teachers and choreographers working in the professional world from New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta where she trained in Classic Modern, Flamenco, Heels, and Aerial on top of her previous training.

Dance Instructor Photo Sarah Warren ("Miss Sarah")

Sarah Warren, originally from Maryland, currently resides in Philadelphia, PA where she attended Temple University and obtained her BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography. Upon graduation in 2015, Sarah now performs professionally and teaches at local dance and fitness studios. Sarah has performed work for Keila Cordova Dances, The InterACTion Project, Femme Collective, a. dance theatre and many other freelance artists in the Philadelphia and NYC areas. She was formerly an apprentice with NYC based company Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre and currently dances and performs with Nickerson-Rossi Dance (East), Putty Dance Project, Matter Movement Group, Alana Melene Dances, and ContempraDANCE Theatre. Dance Instructor Photo Sarah Chance ("Miss Sarah")

Sarah Chance has been dancing since the age of three. She trains in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre and more! She danced on a competitive team for seven years and found her love of theatre after playing the role of Annie in “Annie Jr”; one of the numerous shows she was in at Avon Grove.

Taylor has been dancing since she was six! She is trained in Tap, Rhythmic Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hiphop, and Theatre Performance. Taylor had the honor to perform with KMC Dance (Illuminations Performance Company) dancing in the 6ABC Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, 76ers Basketball Game, at the Statue of Liberty, and many other community events.

Dance Instructor Photo Amanda Mason ("Miss Amanda")

Amanda has been dancing since the age of 3. She is currently a 9th grader at the Center for Performing and Fine Arts in West Chester. She loves all aspects of performing arts including singing,acting, and of course dancing! Some of Amanda’s favorite roles include being a teen dancer in the American Music Theatre Christmas Show and playing Jojo in Suessical at the Octorara High School.

Dance Instructor Photo Julia Snoke ("Miss Julia")

Julia is currently in her 12th year dancing at KMC and has been an assistant teacher for the past two years. She trains in tap, rhythm tap, theatre jazz, ballet, and is a buddy in KMC’s dancing friends class. Julia recently became a part of the The Lady Hoofers’ youth ensemble and loves to tap as much as she can.

Dance Instructor Photo Hannah Tilton ("Miss Hannah")

Hannah has been dancing since she was three years old training at Precision and Deena’s School of Dance before she started dancing at KMC. At KMC Hannah has been able to perform in Disney World, the Miss America parade, Delawareness, Dance For a Cure, and many others through KMC’s performance team. Although Hannah is passionate about Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary, Hannah’s greatest passion is Ballet.
