Commercial Hip Hop

Andre Morris began his Hip Hop training at the age of 8, and after taking a short hiatus to study musical theater and music, returned to dancing at the age of 12 at Carousel Performing Arts Center in Kennett Square PA. Andre Has been trained in many subgenres of Hip Hop, including but not limited to, Breaking, House, and funk styles such as Popping and Locking.

 

After years of training with numerous industry level teachers, Andre began his journey of teaching and choreographing and found a particular love for that aspect of the industry. He’s touched upon multiple facets of teaching and choreographing, from choreographing for high school dance teams, competition teams, and musicals, as well as teaching at multiple studios in the Tri-state area. Andre has also been a member of FloMotion Dance Company since 2014 choreographing, dancing, and acting as artistic director from 2016 to 2018. Andre was also acting director/choreographer of FloMotion Dance Company’s junior company, FloMotion Xclusive during its time from 2017 to 2021. In 2022 he created Reverb Dance Collective alongside his wife and Co-Director Emily Dilworth, a pre-professional hip hop company working to prepare teenage dancers for any and all paths the industry has to offer.

 

Andre most enjoys getting to share his talents and what he’s learned with others and hopes to continue to inspire and guide young dancers to grow each day.
