Tabitha R Andrews-Colmary

Dance Program Director & Instructor

I wouldn’t be me without these other 3!

Meet – “Team Colmary”

For nearly 24 years KMC has been my HOME!
My two children, Cassidy & Kolby, literally grew up at the studio and have since graduated and moved on to dance professionally & become beacons of light in North Carolina & NYC.

While you won’t see my two kiddos in and out of the studio on a daily basis – you’ll know when they are here to visit!… Miss Tabby loses her mind!   Ha!

You WILL see Mr Kevin (more affectionately known as “Mr. Tabby”) pop in and out of the studio often- as well as at all our events! … his KMC dance resume is toooo long to even list – but he certainly is our “everything man”!

A little more about “Me”…

I honestly think I was dancing before I could walk!  And as I grew, so did my passion for dance in all aspects.  With the support of my family & home studio growing up I was able to travel around and learn from as many different teachers in as many different places as I could. This led me to devoting my entire life to the biz”!

First as a student of dance!  I owe so much gratitude to all of my teachers growing up!  Because of my many teachers I was able to be inspired and develop a passion for learning and teaching!
Due to my diverse training and the support of my family, home studio, and teachers I decided to pursue my dream of performing professionally! Industrials, revues and many of the great musicals on Dinner Theatre, Amphitheater, and Resort Theatre stages across the United States round out my performing career.
One of my most treasured moments on stage was playing the part of “Cassie” in A Chorus Line.

“Producing” was next to make its way onto my resume! “Producing” a FAMILY became a primary focus.

Once I became a mommy, I decided to hang up the lavish shoes & glitzy costumes started to fulfill my next passion as a teacher/choreographer on a more full-time basis and settle down and focus on one place KMC had my heart.

I have entirely devoted my life and enthusiasm for the performing arts at KMC Dance.  This year marks my 24th year as a teacher & the dance program/studio director.

One of my biggest aspirations in life is to inspire, motivate & nurture students & staff members alike. strive to keep the program at KMC Dance a “forever family”… an inviting, happy, safe and educating atmosphere!

The “Love of Dance” has led me on an incredible life journey.  I hope everyone that passes thru the studio doors can or will one day be able to say the same thing, no matter what career path you decide to take.

Keep DANCING & living your life *** LOUD & PROUD ***!
